Kai Havertz’s late winner wasn’t enough as Arsenal missed out on the Premier League again despite winning 2-1 against Everton, MySportDab reports.
The Gunners came into the match with the pressure of making sure they claim the win and wait for what happens for Manchester City.
City’s huge victory made sure the Gunners couldn’t make anything much from their end despite getting the job done after 90 minutes.

It wasn’t a dream start for the Gunners but they were able to find their footing in the encounter as both teams did so well going forward.
Everton came prepared with so much pushing but they just couldn’t find their way of getting something that they needed so badly from their end.
Arsenal was stunned when Idrissa Gana Gueye smashed one in making sure his side took a 0-1 lead against the home side which came in the 40th minute.
The Gunners wasted no time in responding after a wonderful effort from Martin Odegaard which was met by Takehiro Tomiyasu who leveled things 1-1 in the 43rd minutes.
It was Arsenal 1-1 Everton after 45 minutes of action played between them at the Emirates Stadium which was expected of the home side who want to win the title.
There was more that came on as both teams resumed for the remaining 45 minutes which continued seeing more entertainment from both ends.
Everton did well enough making sure they forced down everything on their opponent to ensure they spoiled whatever hope they had left to play.
Arsenal kept at it until a late goal in the 89th minute from Kai Havertz making sure they took a 2-1 lead as things continued between the both of them.
Arsenal finished the job with a 2-1 victory over Everton but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for them to go on to lift the Premier League title.
