Thiago Silva Chelsea EXIT Looms Over Fluminense RETURN!

Thiago Silva’s future with Chelsea remains uncertain over Fluminense’s return which is now looking like a possibility, MySportDab reports.

Things with Chelsea are not looking encouraging with his recent drop to the bench despite being fully fit to play.

Fluminense is hopeful of a deal for Thiago Silva who is yet to confirm his decision on what to do next with his situation in England.

The defender has nothing left on his contract which is just running on the few months left before he becomes a free agent.

The Brazil legend’s move to Chelsea was expected to be a short-term fix during Frank Lampard’s first time as the manager.

He has since gone on to become a long-term fix for the team where he has commanded a regular starting place despite his age.

Thiago Silva has been an exception showing no sign of slowing down until his recent issues which have also seen him dropped to the bench.

The chances of him staying with Chelsea remain uncertain and that has led to the Brazilian club Fluminense teasing a possible return.

According to reports reaching us from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed what came from the Fluminense director Fred who made the comment public.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Fluminense director Fred: “Thiago Silva has been a dream of ours for a long time, the president talks to him almost every week”.

“Thiago knows that here the doors are wide open for him”.

“We don’t want to put pressure on him but one day, Thiago will return.

The return to Brazil seems to be the option available if a new contract is not signed with Chelsea anytime soon.

Thiago Silva could also decide on making other moves which could also be Saudi Arabia who are known to poach European club players to join them.
