Manchester City forward Erling Haaland fired shots on his critics after Manchester City’s 2023/24 Premier League triumph, MySportDab reports.

In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano, Haaland described his critics haters, making a case that he has had a great season.

It’s just good, that! The more haters and critics, the better you are”.

“If this is a bad season… I’m in it, then it can only go up!”, told @JanAageFjortoft for ViaPlay.

The 23-year-old endured a difficult campaign midway through the season, and was regularly by Premier League pundits for a subpar delivery.

Manchester United legend and Premier League pundit Roy Keane described the Norwegian forward as a League Two player after his underwhelming performance during City’s 0-0 draw with Arsenal at the Etihad.

Overall, it has not been another groundbreaking campaign for Haaland compared to his terrific debut run with City last season.

However, the former Salzburg forward could be cut some slacks for what has been an upbeat performance late in the campaign.

Despite recurrent injuries, Haaland roared back to form in the Premier League run-ins, scoring for fun as City pip Arsenal to the title.

He has scored a league-leading 27 goals, 11 goals shy of his tally last season but enough to win him his second Premier League Golden Boot Award in a row.

He also played a crucial role as City reach the semifinal of the Champions League, scoring 6 goals.

While it has been a relatively less stellar campaign for Haaland compared to his debut season in the English top-flight, he has undoubtedly retain his status as an elite-level striker beyond disrepute.
