Manchester United are set to part ways with ten first-team players in a planned summer clearout, MySportDab reports.

United’s new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has continued with his reshuffling of the club’s footballing operations with new football officers arriving  while the old guards make way.

So far, Manchester City’s former football chief Omar Berrada is now part of the INEOS team to help in the rejig of the Old Trafford club.

Former Southampton technical director Jason Wilcox is also set to join the club after resigning from his role with the Saints.

Embattled Newcastle football director Dan Ashworth is also on the radar to join the club as new football director.

In the wake of the expected changes in the United football hierarchy, a mass exodus of the old hands is likely to follow.

The club’s former CEO Richard Arnold called it a quit from his role before Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s part-ownership bid was ratified.

MySportDab understands John Murtough, who has served as Man United football director for 11 years, is also set to resign.

The ongoing overhaul at Old Trafford is not likely to be limited to the ranks of the administrative staff alone.

According to Manchester Evening News, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to take his sledgehammer to the playing staff with about ten first-team stars set to be axed in the summer.

Leading the list of names likely to leave the club this summer are Anthony Martial, Brandon Williams, and Tom Heaton, including Raphael Varane.

The triple have struggled with limited game time with United under Erik ten Hag and are set to be axed in the summer, as per the report.

Van de Beek, who is on a loan spell with Eintracht Frankfurt, is also set to be shown the exit door in the summer. Another loanee, Jadon Sancho also makes the cut.

Hannibal Mejbri, Mason Greenwood, Omario, Fecundu Pellistri, and Alvaro Hernandez, are also on the list of imminent summer departures.

The move to clear out the said names is part of Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s attempt to rejig the playing staff, cut costs, and streamline the squad ahead of next season’s campaign.
