The Champions League holders Manchester City crashed out after losing on penalty 3-4 to Real Madrid who made it to the semifinal, MySportDab reports.
The encounter was evenly contested by both teams who left off in a draw in Spain which was the same for 90 minutes.
Both teams played out a 4-4 aggregate on regulation time which saw them pushing for extra time and penalties which eventually settled them.

The game resumed for the second leg at the Etihad Stadium which saw a lot coming from them as they pushed forward in search of the finishing work.
Manchester City came into the match knowing they had the home advantage to make it count for themselves while pushing forward in search of something.
The game continued with Real Madrid taking an early lead which saw Rodrygo converting in the 13th minutes making sure things became 0-1 as they carried on.
Both teams continued to try and see what they could make happen but it wasn’t working out for them and mostly for the home side who were behind.
The first half ended with Real Madrid taking a 0-1 lead which Manchester City couldn’t make much despite the opportunities they were able to create moving forward.

Real Madrid continued holding on to their lead which was going well enough for them as they hit the one hour mark with them still in front.
Manchester City hard work was able to pay off after Kevin de Bruyne benefited from a loosed ball after a clearance which he was able to covert in the 76th minutes to make it 1-1.
They both continued with 90 minutes ending with the scoreline staying draw while they pushed for extra time which was also cagey for them both.
Extra time also couldn’t save them as they carried on trying to see what could come out of their opportunities which was the same story of nothing.
It was the penalty kick that separated them with Real Madrid making it through 3-4 after playing 1-1 with them holding Manchester City to a 4-4 aggregate which the penalties gave the Los Blancos qualification.
