Ademola Lookman was on target as Nigeria Super Eagles beat Ghana 2-1 in an international friendly in Morocco, MySportDab reports.

The rivalry between both West African nations was heated despite it being a friendly match which was just preparations.

Cyril Dessers opened the goal scoring before Opoku red card which came during the second half which was all about the Super Eagles.

Full Match Report 

It was good from both ends as they kickoff with pace and pushing from their end to ensure they took an early lead which did not come immediately.

The game pushed further with the Ghana national team having to deal with pressure which continued pouring in but they did well enough to hold things down.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria continued building on their opportunities until they were given a penalty in the encounter which brought life to the encounter.

Cyril Dessers came through in the 38th minutes after making sure he beautifully tucked in the goal beating the goalkeeper which made things 1-0 as they carried on.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria did not have much to do as they entered inside for the first half with a 1-0 lead against Ghana who from their end were good but couldn’t score.

There was so much both teams came into the second half and played with them trying all they could make happen before things ended.

Ghana dominated things in the match at some point before Opoku sending off which came in the 59th minutes making sure they reduced to 10.

Ademola Lookman came off the bench to score in the 84th minutes making sure Nigeria increased their advantage to 2-0 with little left to be played.

Jordan Ayew made things 2-1 in the additional minutes which saw him scored from the penalty spot to ensure things was narrowed down between them.

Nigeria were able to get the job done by beating Ghana 2-1 in the friendly game which gave them a long revenge which have been broiling for a long time.
