Cole Palmer was on target again as Chelsea claimed a place in the Emirates FA Cup semifinal after beating Leicester City 2-0, MySportDab reports.

Marc Cucurella was also on target as his goal opened up the game so well that the Blues were able to take full advantage of things.

Raheem Sterling was not at his best in the match which saw him struggle and missed all the opportunities he had in the first half.

Full Match Report 

There was a good fight which came from both teams once it was kickoff between them as they moved forward in number.

Chelsea took the lead in the 13th minute after a wonderful run from Nicolas Jackson which saw him put in a pass to Marc Cucurella who was able to make it 1-0.

Things continued with Leicester City conceding a penalty which Raheem Sterling was unable to convert in the 26th minute after blocking Mudryk’s strike from going in.

The England international later repaid his debt after setting up Cole Palmer in the additional time of the first half which made things between them 2-0.

Chelsea were on edge as they ended the first half with a 2-0 lead against Leicester City after an entertaining 45 minutes which they could have scored up to give goals if Sterling did not miss.

There was enough in the second half which both teams pulled in all efforts to make happen until Axel Disasi gave Leicester City a goal back in the 51st minute following a very wrong pass which found its way inside the net to make it 2-1.

Chelsea conceded again after a brilliant finish from Stephy Mavididi who made sure his strike beat the goalkeeper to level things 2-2 in the 62nd minutes.

Callum Doyle was shown a red card in the 73rd minute which saw things pushed forward until Carney Chukwuemeka’s goal in added time made it 3-2.

Noni Madueke brilliant solo effort saw him score another beauty in the additional time which was able to increase things to 4-2.

Chelsea qualified for the Emirates FA Cup semifinal after 90 minutes with a 4-2 victory against Leicester City which was well deserved by them all through.
