Chelsea former number one goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga Is likely to take a pay cut as he is set to go on a loan move to get more playing time, MySportDab reports.

Since the arrival of Edouard Mendy to Stamford Bridge, the Spanish goalkeeper as been put on the bench without getting play time.

The new shot stopper has been prolific which has made it hard for Frank Lampard to give Kepa Arrizabalaga a chance to play.

There is no hopes of the 26 year old getting back to his former number one spot as his days is long gone.

So far Mendy has kept more clean sheets than Kepa did kept during his time as number one which was mixed with so many errors.

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is set to take a pay cut in order to secure a loan move away from the club in January, according to the Sun.

The 26-year-old has lost his place to Edouard Mendy at Stamford Bridge since the arrival of the Senegalese.

He also faces a battle to be Spain’s No.1 goalkeeper at the European Championship in the summer.

Kepa Arrizabalaga will now accept a loan and a reduction to his £150,000-a-week wages in an attempt to get his career back on track.
