Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund made Premier League history becoming the youngest Premier League player to score in six consecutive Premier League games following another standout performance for United against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road, MySportDab.

Holjund stole the spotlights in the game against Luton, scoring his quickest Premier League brace to see United through to a 2-1 victory over the Hatters.

Casemiro set up the youngster for his first goal when the Brazilian floated a pass over the top and Bell made a mess of it leaving it for the former Atalanta forward, who drove into the area, rounded Kaminski and fired into an open net.

Six minutes later, the Danish attacking sensation would score an incredible chested goal to double the lead for the Red Devils before Morris got the Hatters back into proceedings with a 14th-minute strike to reduce the deficit.

United ran out 2-1 winners at the blast of the final, thanks to another stellar outing by Rasmus Holjund.

After breaking his 14-game scoreless streak, Holjund has been banging in the goals with reckless abandon for Manchester United and breaking records.

The 21-year-old £73m signing from Atalanta etched his name into Premier League history after his opening goal against Luton.

He became the youngest Premier League player to score in six consecutive Premier League games.

The record was held by Newcastle United midfielder Joe Willock, who reached the longest Premier League scoring streak for a youngster at the age of 21 years, 272 days old.

Hojlund broke the record netting in six consecutive Premier League games at  the age of 21 years 14 days old.

Jamie Vardy of Leicester City still retains the record for the longest-scoring streak in the Premier League after he scored in 15 consecutive Premier League games for Leicester City in their title-winning campaign in 2015..

Holjund has now scored 8 goals in his last 8 games for Manchester United and is the highest goalscorer in the Premier League in 2024.

The Danish sensation broke his goal duck in Man United’s Boxing Day clash against Aston Villa and has continued on his purple patch in front of goals since then.

He has now totalled 13 goals for Manchester United in all competitions and will be hoping to continue on his prolific goalscoring form for the club.
