Joao Gomes scored a brace as Wolves smashed Tottenham 1-2 at their home ground in the Premier League, MySportDab reports.
Spurs had it though against Wolverhampton Wanderers who made sure it wasn’t an easy one all through the encounter.
The match was another one which didn’t end up good for Spurs who were once leading at the top of the Premier League table for weeks.

It was a great game between both teams who had a lot to play for to ensure their position in the Premier League table improved.
Tottenham started well enough with some encouraging play which they made happen in the early minutes but it did not provide anything good for them.
Wolves also were solid by making sure they put up a solid wall in defending and holding back to see what they could make happen on goal.
The deadlock was broken in the 41st minute after an amazing goal scored by Joao Gomes who was able to make things 0-1 as they pushed through the game.
Wolves were in control of their fate heading into the break which they were in the lead 0-1 against Tottenham who were not solid enough on their end.
The second half was much better for Spurs who developed some good play which they had to take control of things going forward.
Tottenham was able to make a comeback after an amazing goal scored by Dejan Kulusevski who was able to make things 1-1 from a wonderful finish in the 46th minutes.
The game pushed on with more coming. from both ends and mostly Wolves who were fighting to restore their lead which did not come immediately.
Joao Gomes scored his brace in the 63rd minute which was able to see the game turned further 1-2 away from Spurs despite all their efforts.
It was unbearable as Tottenham suffered at their home ground losing 1-2 against Wolves who made sure their victory moved them above Chelsea who are 11th now.
