Harry Kane’s masterclass returned Bayern Munich to winning ways after a three-match winless deadlock, MySportDab reports.

Kane bagged a brace as the Bavarians saw off RB Leipzig in a crackling Bundesliga clash to rekindle hopes of defending the Bundesliga title.

The Munich-based outfit reeled under pressure to return to winning ways after Bayer Leverkusen saw off 10-man Mainz on Friday to open a gaping 11-point lead on the Bundesliga top.

The Bavarians needed nothing less from victory against Leipzig but it nearly ended in another deadlock as the visitors almost fought out the star-studded side to a draw.

The first half ended barren before Harry Kane opened the scoring for the home side in the 56th minute.  RB Leipzig fought back to score the equaliser in the 70th minute through Sesko.

It was still 1-1 after regulation time before clutch Harry Kane scored his second of the night to bag his brace and return the Bavarians to the lead.

Harry Kane’s stoppage-time striker was a life-saving goal for the club and Tuchel who was already battling with immense pressure having gone three matches without a win.

RB Leipzig made a late push to score the equaliser but could not find a breakthrough as Bayern Munich held on to secure a much-needed victory at the blast of the final whistle.

They have now cut the point arrears on Bayer Leverkusen to 8 points and will be hoping to continue on winning ways after the RB Leipzig win.
