Man United BLOW As Andre Onana DECIDES On AFCON

Andre Onana has been selected to take part at the 2024 AFCON tournament which will begin in January, MySportDab reports.

The goalkeeper won’t be staying put at Manchester United despite claims that he might opt out of playing at the AFCON.

Andre Onana is expected to take a decision that could see Manchester United make other plan for the entire of the AFCON tournament from January.

There have been so much talk concerning the goalkeeper who seems to be finding his balance after a run of poor display since his move.

The Cameroon international have maintained a decent run this season in the Premier League which he is one of the most clean sheet.

The goalkeeper decision concerning the AFCON tournament seems to have been made already after being selected by his country.

According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed Andre Onana have been selected and would represents Cameroon at the 2024 AFCON.

Here Is What Was Said:

“André Onana has been selected to represent Cameroon at AFCON, as expected.

“The tournament starts on 13th January with the final on 11th February.

“Man United trust Bayindir as backup goalkeeper.

He is expected to leave once completing the December fixtures playing for Manchester United in the Premier League.

Bayindir is expected to be the man to take charge in the next games before the Cameroon International make his return.

Manchester United could also look into the market as there are claims of David De Gea who is also being eyed by Newcastle United.

The situation at Old Trafford is calm with them set to lose their number one goalkeeper for the AFCON tournament in 2024.

Andre Onana will be taking Cameroon to the AFCON 2024 which they hope to fight through and win the title which is their main priority heading to the tournament.
