Manchester City came from behind to claim a 1-3 victory against Everton at Goodison Park, MySportDab reports.

Julian Alvarez scored once again for the recently crowned World Champions who dominated play.

The Citizens return to Premier League action with a comeback victory which put them back in competition in England.

The opening stages of the match was a lot to take in from Man City who recently return from their triumph as World Champions.

Everton had a fair start to the game which saw them doing enough and also causing some discomfort for their opponent who struggled a bit.

Manchester City were in the match until a goal from Harrison in the 29th minutes which saw things between them going to 1-0 as they both carried on.

The game brought about opportunities which failed to be processed and put to good use by both teams going forward.

Things ended quickly in the first half as there was nothing coming forth for Manchester City who were behind 1-0 against Everton after 45 minutes.

There was enough to talk in the second half which Pep Guardiola deployed some changes which impacted the result for them.

Manchester City leveled things 1-1 in the 53rd minutes making sure they made a comeback which was through Phil Foden goal that was scored.

The game continued for Everton who could barely keep up as Julian Alvarez scored from penalty spot making it 1-2 which came in the 64th minutes.

There was more to play as the away side added yet another goal from Bernardo Silva who ensured things between them increased further to 1-3 in the 86th minutes.

Manchester City claimed a needed and empathic 1-3 victory away from home against Everton on their return from winning the FIFA Club World Cup which mark their continuation in dominating football across the globe.
