Cole Palmer scored a brace as Chelsea claimed a narrow 2-3 victory against Luton Town, MySportDab reports.

Noni Madueke also scored a goal in his first start after returning from injury as the Blues pulled up looking good away from their home ground.

It was another win as Mauricio Pochettino end the year of 2023 with an amazing victory which they hope to continue this season.

There was so much coming from both teams who played each other with so much confidence going forward in the game.

Chelsea took an early lead through a stunning strike from Cole Palmer which came in the 12th minutes after an error from the home side which made things 0-1.

Luton Town were not bad from their end which they pressed hard seeing more of the ball and also creating opportunities which they couldn’t put into good use.

The Blues doubled their advantage in the 37th minutes after Cole Palmer setup Noni Madueke who was able to make a powerful strike making things 0-2.

Chelsea headed for the break with a comfortable lead after making sure they made good use of their opportunities which placed them 0-2 against Luton Town.

There was more coming in the match which both teams came in trying to see what else they can make happen as everything was going on.

Chelsea added another goal in the 70th minutes which came from Cole Palmer who beautifully beat the goalkeeper before making it 0-3.

Luton Town scored in the 74th minutes which VAR ruled out before a goal from Ross Barkley header in the 80th made things 1-3.

The home side were dominant as they hit the bar before yet another goal was scored by them which came through Elijah Adabayo in the 87th minutes to make it 2-3.

Chelsea was able to finish the match with the 2-3 victory which was good enough to see them finish 2023 with a win against Luton Town as they remained 10th.
