FT: Chelsea 2-1 Palace, Madueke Net WINNER! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Chelsea claimed a narrow 2-1 victory against Crystal Palace as they moved into mid table, MySportDab reports.

There was one goal each from both teams who managed to ensure they made good use of their opportunities on goal.

Noni Madueke late goal was the decider after Nicolas Jackson goal was ruled out for offside by VAR.

The Blues dominated the first half but they couldn’t keep hold of things and also they had some close opportunities which were missed.

Crystal Palace came into the match holding things down as they wanted to make sure they had a say as to how the result would end up for them moving forward.

Chelsea took the lead after a brilliant startup by Christopher Nkunku who was able to pass to Malo Gusto who setup Mudryk who made things 1-0 in the 13th minutes.

The game continued until the final minutes of the first half which saw Michael Olise pulling his side back into the match 1-1 with a late shocker.

Chelsea ended with a 1-1 scoreline against Crystal Palace which they couldn’t sustain as they had to finish the first half with a draw despite their wonderful play.

There was more in the remaining half which more effort was put in by both teams who wanted to make the result go in their way.

Chelsea continued dominating the game which they did so much attacking despite missing Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer who both were on suspension due to yellow card.

Crystal Palace did enough to maintain things going forward until Nicolas Jackson goal in the 76th minutes which unfortunately was chopped off by VAR.

Noni Madueke was able to finish off the job after winning a penalty and going to score the goal very late to make things 2-1 for the Blues.

Chelsea were able to finish the match claiming three points after beating Crystal Palace 2-1 at Stamford Bridge to move into mid table.
