It was a heated match in which Paris Saint Germain needed a victory by any means possible to secure their passage from the group stages.
Borussia Dortmund came prepared as their spot was something that was also put to test despite them standing firm on qualification into the next round.
PSG dominated play from kickoff as they pushed with everything looking to ensure they made something happen knowing it is needed from them.
There was nothing serious happening between them in the match which progressed further and them putting all efforts into scoring the lead.

The second half opened up for both teams as they were able to make something happen in terms of breaking the deadlock between themselves.
Borussia Dortmund took the lead after a wonderful display from them saw Karim Adeyemi making it count with a wonderful finish which made things between them 1-0 in the 51st minutes.
PSG were quick to reply with an equalizer which came in the 56th minutes with a goal from Warren Zaire Emery who was there to make the game level 1-1.
Kylian Mbappe scored in the 76th minutes only for his celebration to be cut short as VAR revived the goal which was unfortunately cut off leaving things 1-1.
Paris Saint Germain finished the match playing a 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund which meant both teams made it through into the round 16.
