Meanwhile there have been call for the team to bring in a proven striker in which they have tried over the years but none have worked out including Romelu Lukaku.

According to reports reaching us from Nizaar Kinsella, they confirmed Chelsea have made a short list consisting of five strikers which they will be looking to sign in January.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Viktor Gyokeres and Roony Bardghji are now Chelsea targets, joining three other forwards on the list.

“Another striker signing becomes a firmer priority than ever for the Blues.

“They will look at profile and cost over the coming weeks.

The full list also consist of Victor Osimhen, Antonio Nusa and Ivan Toney who are both expected to hit over €100 million to make a deal happen.

Chelsea are expected to go through the short list before making any conclusion as their intention is to bring in another striker.

Meanwhile they are still awaiting Christopher Nkunku return who could also be deployed into the number nine position if the case may arise.

Chelsea could decide to bring in a top striker with them also tasked with the mandatory option to sell out some players due to financial fair play policy.
