Alejandro Garnacho has won Man United Player of the Month of November Award, MySportDab reports.
Garnacho starred for Manchester United in November with a string of spectacular performances.
The Argentine youngster bagged two goals for Man United in November and happens to be the team’s joint topscorer with Bruno Fernandes in the month.
Garnacho’s first Manchester United goal in November came against Everton at Goodison Park , and it happened to be one his best goals for the club since breaking into Man United first team.
The 19-year-old let fly of a sensational overheard kick to beat Jordan Pickford after latching on Luke Shaw’s cross from the rightwing.
The goal has continued to stir reactions with fans and pundits comparing it to Cristiano Ronaldo’s overhead goals.
The goal also drew parallel with Wayne Rooney’s powerful bicycle kick against Manchester City in 2012 but it appears Alejandro Garnacho’s gave more to his than Rooney’s.
He flew higher before he pounced on the ball and was also far off the goal before beating the goalkeeper.
Garnacho continued in a sterling run for Manchester United in November after the Everton sensation.
He added to his goal tally for the club in the month with another wonder goal in the next fixture against Galatasaray in Champions League.
Following the series of his brilliant performance for the club, Garnacho was tipped to win Manchester United player of the month award.
Other Man United players nominated for the award included Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes.
Maguire emerged from the woods of a dreary spell with the club last term to cement his place in Erik ten Hag’s defense options, and has been phenomenal at the back for the Red Devils.
Bruno Fernandes has also been key to Man United in November with two goals to his name as well but Garnacho saw off the duo to emerge the winner of the award with 42% of the vote.
