Manchester United’s plans to sign young teenage sensation Jude Bellingham has gone bad with Borussia Dortmund now confident of sealing a deal, MySportDab reports.

The Red Devils were previously ahead in the race to sign 16-year-old Jude Bellingham.

And now United could miss out again on another signing to Dortmund.

The German club won the race over United to the signing of Erling Braut Haaland after reports suggested the Red Devils were ready to sign him.

Borussia Dortmund paid the £18million to trigger the striker’s release clause and he choose to join them instead of the Premier League.

Now, Dortmund are ready to do the same again with Bellingham.

According to The Daily Mail, The Birmingham youngster is now close to joining the Bundesliga club after being impressed by everything in Germany.

MySportDab understands that he has monitored the progress of Jadon Sancho at Dortmund and wants to follow the same path.

Jadon Sancho left Manchester City in 2017 before establishing himself as a top player in Germany.

This season, Sancho has scored 14 goals and set up 16 assists in 23 league matches before the season was suspended.

The Mail claims that Dortmund are more confident they can get his signature ahead of United again after they established themselves as one of the best clubs for young players to grow.

Just like Sancho, Haaland has grown fast into one of the best goalscorers in Europe by scoring 12 goals in 11 matches across all competitions.

Manchester United once invited Jude Bellingham to the Carrington training ground earlier in 2020 and rolled out the red carpet in an attempt to woo the youngster.
