Manchester United are said to be risking the possibility of European ban over Jim Ratcliffe takeover, MySportDab reports.

The British billionaire is already half way to becoming part owner at Manchester United in the coming weeks.

Jim Ratcliffe taking over part of Manchester United is also said to put the club at a risk of them facing possible ban from Europe.

The British International is already a owner with Ligue One side Nice and he is set to add Manchester United as part owner of 25 percent.

The Premier League club could risk a ban from making through to European competition when the takeover is completed.

Jim Ratcliffe plan of full takeover at Manchester United is said to be the future plan once the 25 percent is accepted and official.

The issue of the British man owning another top side in Nice could be a massive problem that the Premier League club could be axed from Champions League.

According to reports reaching us from The Mirror, they confirmed the possibility of Manchester United being ban from playing in the Champions League over Jim Ratcliffe takeover.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Man Utd face the possibility of being banned from Europe next season because of Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s ownership of Nice.

The rules on ground under club multi ownership states that for the two clubs to play in European competition is if one qualified automatically.

Meanwhile the other will have to enter the Conference League which is a statement UEFA have made clear to avoid both teams facing each other.

If both teams gained automatic qualification, only one can make it to the Champions League based on their rankings.

Here Is What UEFA President Said:

“We are not thinking about Manchester United only,” Ceferin revealed on the Overlap in March.

“We’ve had five or six owners of clubs who want to buy another club.

“We have to see what to do. The options are that it stays like that or that we allow them to play in the same competition.

“I’m not sure yet. We have to speak about these regulations and see what to do about it.

“There is more and more interest in this multi-club ownership.

“We shouldn’t just say no for the investments for multi-club ownership, but we have to see what kind of rules we set in that case because the rules have to be strict.

“From one point of view it’s true if you are the owner of two clubs and they play in the same competition you can say to one club to lose because you want the other to win.

“But for you, as a football player, do you think it’s so easy to do that, to tell a coach, lose the match because the other wants to win?”

The situation might be a huge one that have to be put into consideration and could be reason for the delay announcement of the takeover.

Jim Ratcliffe takeover is still yet to be processed and made official by the Glazers family who will still remain majority holder until any changes.
