Aston Villa came from behind to beat Tottenham 1-2 in a mouthwatering Premier League match, MySportDab reports.

It was solid from what both teams did give in the half of the match which VAR was the decider of the scoreline.

Ollie Watkins goal decided the game which the Villa side showed so much strength in making sure their lead was sustained.

The game was one which Spurs did come in knowing they needed something with Manchester City dropping point again in their match.

It was a brilliant start for Aston Villa who have been impressive this season that have seen them cement a place in the top half of the League table.

Tottenham took the lead in the 22nd minutes with a stunner from Giovani Lo Celso who scored a shocker making things 1-0 for the home side.

Ollie Watkins replied in the 24th minutes with a breathtaking goal only for VAR to come into play and canceled the finish leaving Spurs with the lead.

Pau Torres was able to score a late goal which saw Aston Villa holding Tottenham to a 1-1 draw after an incredible 45 minutes which was cagey between them.

They came into the second half with so more coming through with both teams who wanted to take the lead after showing what they can make happen.

Tottenham were the better of both teams trying to hold on and see what they can put together to ensure something happen as the encounter progresses.

Aston Villa kept things calm trying to figure out the their way through some difficult moments in the encounter which they did well enough to come out.

The Villa side took the lead with a stunner from Ollie Watkins scored in the 61st minutes making sure things became 1-2 as the home side were stunned after conceding.

Aston Villa claimed a shocking 1-2 victory against Tottenham who were hit with yet another blow as their impressive started have ended.
