Liverpool claimed a 1-2 victory against Bournemouth in the EFL Carabao Cup 4th round, MySportDab reports.
The Reds dominated things in the first half which paid off with them making something happen from their end.
The Reds cemented a place in the quarter final which they are hoping to make it through for the title which is still open.
Both teams were solid enough creating their moments in the match which saw them doing well enough but only one team benefited.
Bournemouth were well enough pushing through with everything on the table for them as they wanted a chance in making it through.
Liverpool were well organized as they continued to make sure their defending was good while trying to make their chances in scoring goals.
The goal finally came in the 31st minutes which saw Cody Gakpo converting neatly to ensure his side took a 0-1 lead as the match carried on.
The first half came to close with Liverpool making sure they held their 0-1 lead into the break against Bournemouth who were second best.
The second half came to play with more coming from the Reds who had their lead and also so much work to do before the end.
Liverpool were good enough still creating opportunities which did not go in immediately as they moved on in the encounter away from Anfield.
Bournemouth leveled things in the 64th minutes from a goal which came from Kluivert bringing the game back to start 1-1 as they continued.
Darwin Nunez scored a beauty in the 70th minutes which made sure the match was 1-2 back to the way the away side wanted things to be moving forward.
Liverpool were able to make it through claiming a 1-2 victory against Bournemouth in the EFL Carabao Cup which next will be the quarterfinals.
