Phil Foden scored the only goal that gave Man City a narrow 0-1 win against Everton, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was a good first half encounter which saw both teams doing well enough to ensure nothing went past their goalkeepers.
Everton did well enough in the early stages of the first half to keep off their opponent from scoring despite the pressure.
Man City were the better side as the first half was looking all about them as they pushed forward searching for the lead which didn’t happen for them.
It was going well for both teams who were doing good but the goal refuse to come despite the opportunities created by them.
The first half ended with Everton holding Man City to a 0-0 goalless draw as they both headed inside for the break without any side getting a goal.
Second Half Report
The second half was a different ball game for both teams as they did good but just one side was able to make something happen.
Man City were becoming desperate as they were still unable to make anything happen with the match entering the 50th minute and counting.
Everton were good with them still in the game as they kept doing everything possible to make sure the scoreline remained 0-0 as things carried on.
The goal finally came in the 81st minutes of the encounter thanks to Phil Foden who made good of his opportunity to make the scoreline 0-1 for Manchester City.
The match became opened for both sides who had to push forward with different objectives in their mind as one want to finish off things while the other want a leveler.
Things ended in the encounter with Everton 0-1 Man City which saw the home side gave a good account of themselves but it wasn’t enough as they lost.
