Borussia Dortmund have grabbed a huge Champions League victory over AC Milan to book their ticket in the next round of the competition, MySportDab reports.

The German giants pulled a shocker of a result at the San Siro with a convincing win over AC Milan to make it three straight wins in the Group of Death.

Reus opened the scoring for Borussia Dortmund from the spot just 10 minutes into the game to give the away side the lead.

AC Milan fought back with a timely response in the 37th minute with Nigerian striker Chukwueze scoring a wonder goal to level the scores before the first half break.

The two sides went into the break with the scoreline tied at a 1-1 draw.

Borussia Dortmund put up a more impressive performance in the second half and it was a matter of time before they take the lead again.

Bynoe-Gittens scored in the 59th minute to make it 2-1 before Karim Adeyemi extended the lead for the German side in the 69th minutes.

Adeyemi’s goal was the final strike of the game as AC Milan failed to mount a formidable response.

The match ended with Borussia Dortmund winning 3-1 after regulation time to grab all three points at the San Siro.

Following the defeat AC Milan now faces an existential threat of being eliminated from the competition as they are yet to win a game in the group.

In the other group match, Newcastle United nearly shocked PSG with a win at Parc Des Princes before Kylian Mbappe scored a stoppage-time penalty to salvage a point for the home side.
