Popularly known as the Gypsy King, Tyson Fury, is an undisputed world heavyweight champion and has remained undefeated on the crown for over a decade.
Against a newcomer and former UFC Champion like Francis Ngannou, it was thought the renowned and feared boxer will dispatch the Cameroonian with just a punch but it turned out otherwise.
Francis Ngannou shocked the world and Tyson Fury’s heavy Saudi financiers as he edged close to what would have been an epic and historic boxing victory.
The highpoint of the match was in the third round when Fury attempted an offensive but Ngannou swerve and dodged it with agility and then delivered a brutal punch that landed the Gypsy King on the ground.
He knocked down Fury with the brutal punch but the latter quickly picked himself up to continue the fight.
The match dragged on with both sides matching each other’s offensives and dragging the match till the final round.
Another shocking element of the fight that surprised pundits was how Ngannou was able to drag the Gypsy King to the last round, matching his punches with equal offensives.
It took a split-decision by the judges to declare Tyson Fury the winner after the final round and social media has since gone buzzing with boxing fans claiming Francis Nganou has been robbed of victory.
