Police Rescue Luis Diaz’s Kidnapped Mother! [VIDEO]

The Colombian Police have rescued Luis Diaz’s mother who was kidnapped by hoodlums in his native country, Colombia, MySportDab reports.

The Liverpool prolific youngster recently faced a distressing situation as his parents were confirmed kidnapped by Colombian security operatives before a manhunt for the suspected villains.

Fortunately, it has been confirmed that his mother has been rescued by authorities but the whereabout of his father is still unknown as of the time of filing this report.

The man-hunt for the kidnappers has continued with hopes that his father will be rescued as well but it is still unclear if some of the culprits have been pinned down and arrested.

The kidnap incident shook the President of Colombia Gustavo Petro who urged relevant authorities to swing into action.

It was Gustavo who also confirmed that Luis Diaz’s mother has been successfully rescued after operations by Colombian joint security force.

Colombian outlets revealed the tragic incident occurred in the town of Barrancas, located in La Guajira, where Diaz spent his childhood.

It is reported that the footballer’s parents were ambushed by unidentified individuals while traveling in their respective vehicles.

Shockingly, the assailants hijacked the van carrying Diaz’s parents before fleeing the scene, leaving a trail of uncertainty behind them.

Is is hoped Luis Diaz father will be rescued as well as the rescue operations by the authorities intensifies.

Meanwhile, Luis Diaz is expected to start for Liverpool when they take on Bournemouth in the Premier League today.
