Manchester United Confirm Team News Ahead Champions League Clash

Manchester United have confirmed teams news ahead of the club’s Champions League tie against FC Copenhagen, MySportDab reports.

United are winless in their last two Champions League games and will need a win against FC Copenhagen to stand a chance of qualifying from the group stage of the competition.

Ahead of the game, Erik ten Hag has confirmed United squad update with some players missing out while others are set to return to action.

On Sergio Reguilon, who have missed a couple of games, Erik ten Hag revealed the Tottenham loanee is set for a return to action and will ease his concerns in Man United backline.

Reguilon was back to Manchester United training and would have started the game against Sheffield United but suffered a setback due to illness.

On Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Erik ten Hag revealed the right-back is close to returning to action but is expected to miss the Champions League action on Tuesday.

Also, Kobbie Mainoo is another injury boost for Manchester United as ten Hag confirmed the youngster may likely get some minutes for the club soon.

Johnny Evans, who limped off the 2-1 win over Sheffield United is a doubt for the game but there is no update on his injury situation.

Raphael Varane, who returned in the win over Sheffield United, is expected to start the game but Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, and Tyrell Malacia are still on the sidelines.

Casemiro will miss the game after he picked up a red card against Galatasaray but Bruno Fernandes, Christian Eriksen, and Mason Mount are all available for selection.
