England played out a 3-1 victory against Italy in their Euro 2024 qualifications match at Wembley Stadium, MySportDab reports.
Both teams came into the game with so much rivalry between them from previous games resulting back to Euro 2020 final.
Harry Kane brace was good enough to make sure things came to an end for the Italians who couldn’t make anything more.
The first half was packaged with many talking points and opportunities from both ends as they pushed with everything on their end.
England started well with Jude Bellingham making sure his presence was felt in the early minutes which saw him going close to scoring.
Italy took the lead with a shocking goal out of nowhere from Gianluca Scamacca which beat the goalkeeper easily in the 15th minute making things 0-1 with more happening.
The game continued in slow pace which the away side wanted to keep things until Harry Kane was presented a penalty which he brilliantly tucked away making things 1-1 in the 32nd minute.
There was so much which happened in the remaining minutes but the scoreline remained 1-1 as England Vs Italy ended in the 45 minutes with a scoreline that was expected.
They came in stronger in the second half and both of them wanted to immediately set the ball rolling by taking the lead which didn’t come so easy.
England had more of the ball connecting so well, but they couldn’t put their finishing touches on the right places which could have landed them the lead early.
Italy conceded in the 57th minute with a stunner scored by Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford which saw things turned 2-1 as they progressed further.
Harry Kane scored another goal in the 77th minutes making sure the shoreline became 3-1 as it was already far from over for the visiting side.
England were good enough to maintain their composure as they ended the match with a 3-1 victory against Italy who gave their best but were the second best all at the end.
