England claimed an impressive victory 1-0 against Australia in a friendly match, MySportDab reports.

Ollie Watkins made it count for the Three Lions who dominated the entire play and could have scored more goals.

It was yet another resounding victory for the Three Lions who continued to make sure they keep their winning streak going.

Match Report

The game build up to a cagey one from kickoff which saw the away side for the match showing they have so much in the bag installed.

It was Australia who had more work to do defending in the match which they were second best compared to their opponent who had all the ball.

England dominated play but find it extremely difficult to make anything happen as the first half progressed with the scoreline staying goalless.

Gareth Southgate was pleased to see how his side responded to the heavy changes made as he decided with a new face in the encounter.

Australia held England to a 0-0 scoreline which saw them headed inside for the break unable to make anything of the 45 minutes which was cagey.

The second half of the showdown was different as more changes was seen in terms of performance and how they approached the game.

Australia were still standing tall against their opponent who threw more on them as the game continued to be a one sided affair between the two teams.

Ollie Watkins scored in the 57th minutes of the game with assist from Jack Grealish which saw England took a 1-0 lead going forward.

Nothing else was coming through as they both pushed through with the added minutes left to be played in the match which stayed in same scoreline between them.

England ended the match ensuring they claimed a 1-0 victory against Australia who gave them a good run but couldn’t stop them from taking the win.
