Some changes have been confirmed in the imminent partial takeover of Manchester United by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, MySportDab reports.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to acquire 25% of Manchester United shares and will take over control of Manchester United sporting and football operations.
Ratcliffe won the takeover race when his rival, Sheikh Jassim, bowed out at the death due to the Glazers’ outlandish demand.
According to previous reports, Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s 25% bid for Manchester United was set to be ratified on Thursday, October, 19, 2023 by members of Manchester United board.
Now, according to reports reaching us from @telefootball and shared by Transfer Live, the ratification of Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s bid may not hold on Thursday October 19 2023 as scheduled.
According to the report, Manchester United board members will not ratify Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s bid on Thursday as planned but will push it till the next fortnight which is the next two weeks.
Meanwhile, sources close to the club have revealed that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is ready for an overhaul of Manchester United sporting and football department when his 25% ownership of the club is ratified.

Ratcliffe have also set aside a huge sum of money to refurbish and renovate Old Trafford and expand ita capacity by 15,000.
His was the unpopular bidder compared to his rival Sheikh Jassim as Man United fans wanted a deal that will wipe off the Glazers’ presence at the club.
However, since Sheikh Jassim bowed out with his full takeover offer, Sir Jim Ratcliffe could offer a promise of a new dawn and a slight break and from the Glazers’ 18-years reign of rot and degradation.
