OFFICIAL: AFCON 2023 Group Stages Draw CONFIRMED!

The draws for the AFCON 2023 tournament have been completed today at Ivory Coast, MySportDab reports.

Champions Senegal will look to defend their Nations Cup title which is expected to be a tough one for all teams representing.

The likes of Chelsea duo of Didier Drogba and John Mikel Obi both were ambassadors for the AFCON 2023 draws which had Sadio Mane and Hakimi included.

The draws was made and all teams now know their respective groups with them looking towards making their preparation ahead of the tournament.

Nigeria who have been put in a tough group would fancy their chances of lifting the AFCON title once again with Victor Osimhen looking to get himself available to lead.

The draws are really tough for every team with the level of competition improving than it was during the last time.

Senegal have a huge task of defending their title with Ivory Coast also labelled favorite being the host Nation.

Nigeria and Egypt also fall in the list of favorites who could claim the AFCON 2023 title if all goes well.

It won’t be an easy fight for all teams who hope to escape from the group stages before anything else can be said.

There are expected to be two teams who make it automatically as number one and two of their respective groups before anything else follows.
