Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has mocked Manchester United abysmal start to this season’s campaign, MySportDab reports.

Speaking in a post-match press conference after Manchester City’s comeback against West Ham United at London Stadium, Guardiola grin sarcastically when a reporter asked him what he makes of Manchester United’s start to the season.

Generally responding to questions of teams who are more likely to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title, Guardiola commended Liverpool and Arsenal for a strong start to the season but grin at the mention of Manchester United and Chelsea.

Responding to the queries by the reporters, Guardiola said in a viral video (available at the end of this post)

“But you know how strong is Arsenal. Yesterday I saw them against [Everton at] Goodison Park, they are exceptional and Liverpool again and mentalities continue there.”

A reporter adds: “And Manchester United.” Guardiola continues: “[Laughs]. Well they didn’t start. They didn’t start in [the way] they expect like Chelsea but always they… Man United always they with Chelsea, sooner or later they will take the rhythm. But that is important for us after winning the treble, five to five [wins] is really, really good, really good.”

Guardiola has led Manchester City to a perfect start or the season after five matches, winning all his matches to go top of the Premier League table with maximum 15 points.

Liverpool and Arsenal have equally made a strong start to the campaign but have dropped two points each with four wins and a draw.

Manchester United and Chelsea, who were tipped to join the title race, have gotten to a nightmare start.

Manchester United have managed only two wins from their five games with three defeats while Chelsea have stumbled to only one win, two draws, and two defeats.
