AC Milan played out a goalless 0-0 draw against Newcastle United in their opening game of the UEFA Champions League, MySportDab reports.

They both did well enough in the first half which present opportunities mostly for the home team who couldn’t make them count.

The game was evenly matched with so much tightness that couldn’t result in any goal happening all through the 90 minutes they had.

There was so much which came from both teams who had their moments pushing with everything they had to offer on the pitch.

Newcastle United came in looking sharp in the match which was their first Champions League game after so many years.

AC Milan created more of the opportunities but couldn’t just make anything count for themselves despite how close it could have happened.

Rafael Leao was presented with a golden opportunity which saw him beating two defenders but fall down before a strike was made and blocked as things carried on.

There was nothing much that could change the situation of things from both end as the first half came to an end with AC Milan 0-0 Newcastle United.

Both teams had talk from their manager before coming on for the second half which saw more coming from them as the game became more interesting.

There was so much done by Newcastle United who grew in confidence and fought to see equal share of the ball but still they couldn’t make anything happen.

AC Milan carried on with the game seeing more opportunities as their shot on target was noticed in the stats which was far more than the visiting side.

The game was slowly sleeping away with no side being able to make something happen despite the amount of opportunities that was created from both teams.

AC Milan couldn’t make anything happen as they were held to a 0-0 result by Newcastle United who gave a good account in their first Champions League game.
