Manchester United Confirm Mason Mount Iniury BLOW!

Manchester United have confirmed Mason Mount will miss action for the Red Devils due to the injury he picked up againat Tottenham, MySportDab reports.

The highly-rated midfielder, who joined Manchester United for £60m from domesitic rivals Chelsea, picked up an issue in Manchester United’s 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League last week.

While the injury was considered as a minor issue that is not expected to keep the former Chelsea star on the sideline, Manchester United have confirmed a grim and worrying update on Mason Mount.

A club statement confirming the injury blow revealed Mason Mount will miss the emaining matches for Manchester United before the international break.

He will also not feature for England national team during the international break due to the injury.

England takes on Ukraine during the international break on September 9 before trading tackles with Scotland on September 12.

Mason Mount is expected to miss the two games as he recovers from the injury.

Mount will not feature for Manchester United in the close door friendly against Burnley today and is also expected to miss Manchester United’s next Premier League game against Nottingham Forest, including a crunch Premier League tie against Arsenal.

The injury will come as a major blow to Manchester United who are having another less impressive start to the season.

The Red Devils eked out a scrappy win over Wolves at Old Trafford in the opening weekend before settling for a 2-0 defeat against Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Mason Mount started the two matches but will now be ruled out from next fixtures until after the international break when he will be expected to recover fully and rejoin the squad.
