PSG have dropped points again in their second consecutive Ligue match this season, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It was a cagey affair between both sides as the match kicked off.

Having settled for a dramatic barren draw against Lorient in the opening game, the French Ligue 1 champions needed a win to brush up a good start to the season.

Luis Enrique, who recently assumed duties as new manager, also needed a convincing start to the season.

PSG were the better side going forward but it was a tightly-contested clash as Toulouse fought hard to keep a clean sheet in the first half of the encounter.

PSG dominated proceedings but were unable to break the goal deadlock as they settled for a dramatic 0-0 draw after the first 45 minutes.

Second Half Report

PSG started the second half on the front foot having stamped their dominance throughout the first half.

They ramped up their attempt to land the opening goal but could not score from an open play.

In the 62nd minutes, Kylian Mbappe stepped up to the rescue in his first game after reinstatement back to first team.

Toulouse conceded spotkick which was perfectly converted by Mbappe to give the away side the lead

PSG continue to dominate play, wielding over 77% of the ball possession and were looking set to double the lead.

Against the run of play, Toulouse pulled a late shocker in the 90th minutes after PSG conceded a spotkick.

Aboukhlal stepped up and perfectly converted the spotkick to bring the scoreline to a dramatic 1-1 draw.

After the home side bagged an equaliser, PSG needed stoppage-time to return to the lead.

They made late concerted effort to find another goal but could score as Toulouse held on to grab a crucial one point from the defending champions.
