FT: Palace 0-1 Arsenal, Martin Odegaard STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Arsenal scaled through Crystal Palace with a 0-1 victory thanks to Martin Odegaard’s goal, MySportDab reports.

An Odegaard goal from the penalty spot was good enough to hand the Gunners a victory in their second match of the season.

Takehiro Tomiyasu was sent off the game which saw the Gunners playing with 10 men for most of the second half.

Match Report

The clash started with a lot coming from both teams who came in with equal agenda of getting a maximum of three points.

Arsenal had their moments in the early minutes which saw them bossing play and doing all they could to maximize their chances of scoring a goal.

Crystal Palace was well organized and arranged by their manager who made sure nothing could penetrate them despite the loads of pressure being faced.

There was so much happening on the pitch which led to Jordan Ayew getting a yellow card which came in the 27th minute through an incident that didn’t go well with the referee.

Arsenal couldn’t do much from their end as they headed for the break with Crystal Palace with the scoreline staying goalless in a tight 45 minutes.

The second half was a bit open with spaces and more creative play coming from both teams who had the moment and did a lot more pressing.

Arsenal took the lead in the 54th minute through a well-taken penalty by Martin Odegaard which was able to make the scoreline 1-0 as the match continued.

Takehiro Tomiyasu was cautioned in the 60th minute and later ended up getting a red in the 67th reducing the Gunners by one man down.

Their disadvantage was enough for Crystal Palace as Arsenal ran away with a 0-1 victory at the end of the match which saw so many things happening between them.
