Chelsea have unveiled and announced new signing Deivid Washington who join from Santos, MySportDab reports.
The Premier League side already reached an agreement a long time ago but official announcement was delayed due to some reasons.
Deivid Washington is now an official Chelsea player and have made his way into the club as a future prospect and long term plan.
The teenager joins the Premier League club on a seven years contract which is going to run until 2030.
He could also be extending his contract beyond the seven years after everything come to an end as an option included in his deal.
He made a breakthrough in the Brazilian League under Santos just like Gabriel Angelo who also completed a move to Chelsea.
The official announcement and unveiling was made today at the club headquarters which is at Cobham.
He could be in line to play for the team immediately or be put on loan elsewhere to enable him get more experience.
The teenager can operate in any position going forward as he push forward more in attacking.
His preferred position is as a striker which is something the Blues have been lacking for a very long time.
Deivid Washington could be the solution to the problem, but only the manager will have the final say if the player will stay or go out on a loan move.
