Mason Mount’s Dad, Tony, has sparked reactions after he was left stunned in Manchester United dressing room, calling it a home, MySportDab reports.
Mason Mount’s move to Manchester United seemed to have raise eyebrows among Chelsea fans who believe Mount is disloyal joining Chelsea’s biggest rival.
But it appears the England star has put his past behind and ready to take the new challenge of building his career at Old Trafford.
In a footage which went viral last night, Mason Mount and his father, Tony where spotted sitting in Manchester United dressing room.
Tony was stunned at the glittering and sparkling scenery of the iconic dressing room.
Reacting to the spectacular view, Tony said to Mason Mount, who was sitting beside him, ”Mason… this dressing room man… home mate, HOME. Who would have thought aye, when I brought you up here as a little boy’
Mason Mount replied his Dad as he rubbed his shoulders saying, “I know. Special isn’t it?”
The conversation between the former Chelsea star and his father did not sit well with some Chelsea fans.
A fan wrote, “you have entered out list of Thibaut Courtois.”
Another added, “we will boo when you come to Stamford Bridge.”
While Mason Mount’s move to Manchester United upset some Chelsea fans, it is understood Mount wanted the move to happen.
In his first interview, Mount seemed to blame the club for his move as he said he opted to join Manchester United after he knew he was not in Chelsea plans for the 2023/24 season.
