Harry Maguire has made a bold move on his Manchester United future, MySportDab reports.
The former Leicester City defender is enduring a difficult spell at Manchester United under new manager Erik Ten Hag.
Maguire made 38 Premier League appearances for Manchester United in his first season at the club.
In his second season, he made 34 appearances, and 30 in his third season before he suffered a drastic career decline last season after Erik Ten Hag took over the reins at Man United dugout.
Erik Ten Hag’s debut season at Old Trafford has been Harry Maguire’s nightmare as his rating dropped drastically.
He has made only 16 Premier League appearances for the club with only 8 starts and had usually cut a frustrated figure in the Man United bench.
His Manchester United misfortunes have showed no sign of abating soon with Ten Hag even deciding to deploy left-back Luke Shaw on center-back role instead of fielding him.
There have been reports linking him to a possible exit from the club this summer.
Erik Ten Hag has been clear on Maguire’s chances and Man United future.
Speaking wit the Times, the Dutch tactician said Maguire’s future at the club is up for to the player to decide after he struggled on the bench and that he (Maguire) face a stiff competition from Raphael Varane.
In other words, Erik Ten Hag is ready to part ways with Maguire if he wants to leave the club.
Also, it has been confirmed Ten Hag is ready to strip Harry Maguire of Man United captaincy badge this week.
