Super Falcons of Nigeria played out a goalless 0-0 draw against Ireland to finish second in the group, MySportDab reports.
The game was one which provided so many opportunities for both teams who couldn’t make any of them count going forward.
Super Falcons had themselves to blame after failing to make some golden opportunities which could have easily seen them win.

It was an end to end game which both teams came in with a lot to fight despite knowing their fate and what they have in hand.
Ireland came into the match hungry to make sure they secure their first point of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.
It wasn’t an easy one for Nigeria who were desperate to set a new record for being the only African team to top a group.
No goal came from them despite all the efforts that was put in as they both ended the first half with a goalless draw.
They came in for another round of 45 minutes which was the same like the first half which didn’t see them scoring any goal.
Nigeria narrowed the ball possession as they pushed close on a couple of occasions trying to make something good out of their opportunities.
Ireland remained confidence and almost took the lead but thanks to solid defending, there wasn’t anything good that could come out of their chances.
The game continued with everything but no goal which saw Nigeria and Ireland playing a 0-0 goalless draw after 90 minutes.
