Karim Benzema will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season after over a decade with the club, MySportDab reports.

The former France international has been linked to an exit from the club with Real Madrid making plans to sign a top striker to take his place.

According to ESPN, a Saudi club has offered Karim Benzema a mega two year deal worth £345m to lure him to the club.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid were ready to let him leave at the end of the season due to his age.

The La Liga giants are priotizing a younger generation of players to lead the transition into a new era in the club.

Benzema reportedly reach a verbal agreement with Real Madrid to extend his stay his stay at the club by one more year till 2024 but it has been confirmed the verbal agreement has been jettisoned by both parties.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed Karim Benzema will leave at the end of the season, urging the club to to prepare a good farewell ceremony for the player.

Benzema will play his last home game for Real Madrid against Atletico Bilbao at the weekend with reports saying the club will sent forth Benzema properly during the match against Atletico Bilbao.

Karim Benzema was instrumental to Real Madrid’s Champions League and La Liga triumph last season.

According to reports, he will join his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia as an undisclosed Saudi Arabian club has reportedly tabled a mega offer for him.

Benzema is second all-time top scorer for Real Madrid with 346 goals. He is superseded on the all-time top goal-scorers chart by Cristiano Ronaldo who has 450 goals for the club.
