England secured a resounding win over North Macedonia in the 2024 Euros Qualifiers to maintain their 100% record in the qualification stage, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was a rout as England pummeled North Macedonia in what turned out to be the greatest win of the night against the lowly-rated team.
England started the game on the front foot and were dominating proceedings from the start of the game.
North Macedonia dropped deep to defend but they could not drag on as England continued to mount pressure.
In the 29th minute, Harry Kane put the Three Lions ahead with an assist from Manchester United’s Luke Shaw.
10 minutes after the opening goal, Bukayo Saka doubled the lead for the Three Lions with Kyle Walker’s assist.
At the cusp of the first half, Marcus Rashford hit a last minute goal to put the visitors to rout with England’s third goal.
The first half ended with the Three Lions leading 3-0 before heading into the break.
Second Half Report
England still held sway over the game as the second half started and were looking set to score more goals.
Bukayo Saka hits a quick fire double early in the second half in the 47th and 51st minute to make it 5-0 for England as he bags his hat-trick.
North Macedonia offered no formidable response despite failing by such a wide margin before the hour mark.
In the 64th minute, it was England again with the 6th goal as Kalvin Philips put the game beyond the visitors.
North Macedonia compounded their woes as they conceded a late penalty which was converted by Harry Kane who bagged a brace to make it 7-0 for England.
The Three Lions secured their biggest win in the competition while North Macedonia suffered the biggest defeat so far, drowning their hopes of making it Euros 2024 as England remain undefeated in the qualification stages.
