Erik Ten Hag is planning to send Mason Greenwood out on loan next season, MySportDab reports.
The Manchester United manager have two options in the table for Mason Green – either a loan sell or outright sellout this summer, pending the outcome of the investigation into the rape saga.
According to,Manchester United Evening News, Erik Ten Hag is not ready to sell out Mason Greenwood totally from Manchester United.
The report adds the former Ajax boss prefers loaning out Mason Greenwood from the club next season.
His decision stems from the fact that he still want Mason Greenwood back in Manchester United squad in the nearest future due to his goal-scoring stats.
While the decision to bring back Greenwood is not entirely Ten Hag’s, there are greenlights he will like to have him back but Mason Greenwood’s Manchester United return will solely depend on the outcome of the investigations by the club into the rape saga.
Greenwood was recently spotted training privately on £85-a-hour pitch with a private coach.
He was put through his paces and shooting skills and it was the first time he has returned to training after the rape saga.
Greenwood is also included in Manchester United 2023/23 squad as he is still under contract with the club, earning his £75,000-a-week wage.
While he remain suspended from Manchester United squad, there have been loan moves from clubs in Turkey and Italy seeking to sign the player but Manchester United turned them down.
Now, Greenwood may likely be allowed to leave on loan base on latest reports after the investigation by the club is concluded.
Before the rape saga, Mason Greenwood netted 29 goals in 135 appearances for Manchester United.
