CONFIRMED! Edouard Mendy Joins Al Ahli From Chelsea

Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has joined Saudi Arabian club, Al Ahli, MySportDab reports.

The Senegal international signed a three-year contract with the club and is the next Chelsea player to join the Saudi Pro League as per Fabrizio Romano.

Mendy’s imminent Chelsea exit was on the corners after he lost his starting berth at the club.

After he picked up a finger injury, Edouard Mendy lost his starting place to Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Ater his return from injury, he could not break into the team’s lineup and was eyeing a move away from the club to play regular football.

Now, he has sealed a move away from Chelsea to join Saudi Pro League side, Al Al Ahli.

Also leaving Chelsea this summer is another Senegal international and former Napoli defender, Kalidou Koulibaly who will ply his trade with Al Hilal next season.

Hakim Ziyech is another Chelsea player set to leave the club to Saudi Arabia this summer with an agreement on ground to join Al Nassr.

More exits at Chelsea are expected in the coming days as the club continue in their summer overhaul with the likes of Mateo Kovacic leaving the club to Man City.

Mason Mount is also set to leave with Manchester United on the trail on the England international as personal terms has already been agreed with the player. Bayern Munich are also interested

Kai Havertz is also set to leave with Arsenal targeting the player and are set to submit a new bid after having rounds of bid rejected.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is also on the exit door, including Hakim Ziyech, and others.

Meanwhile the club has confirmed the exit of 13 players this summer to leave more room for new signings and also cut wage spending.
