Real Madrid are lining up a shock move for soon-to-be free agent, Roberto Firmino, MySportDab reports.

The La Liga giants are reportedly hoping to boost their attacking options ahead of next season after Karim Benzema fell below expectation this season.

Firmino’s Liverpool contract will expire next month and the Brazil international has revealed he will not renew his contract with the Reds.

Since Liverpool signed Darwin Nunez and Gody Gakpo, Roberto Firmino game time with the Reds has drastically reduce.

The former Hoffenheim forward has struggled for a starting berth hence has called for Liverpool exit hoping to push through a move to where he could have enough game time.

He has been linked with a move to Barcelona after it was confirmed he will leave Liverpool at the end of the summer.

Barcelona hoped to sign Roberto Firmino as a free agent with the club’s dwindling financial fortunes.

Now, the La Liga champions will have to battle for the signatory of Roberto Firmino with domestic rivals Real Madrid.

Real Madrid are reportedly keen on signing Firmino but there are reports the out-of-favor Liverpool man is not in hurry to take a decision on his next destination..

Roberto Firmino still retained his goal threat at Liverpool despite struggling to start for the club.

He made a total of 25 appearances for Liverpool this season in the Premier League with only 13 starts but has scored 11 goals for the club.

Despite the interest by the two big clubs in La Liga, Roberto Firmino is reportedly weighing up his options before making a decision.
