Manchester City fans have invaded the Etihad Stadium after Manchester defeated Chelsea after the final whistle, MySportDab reports.

The fans, who were jubilant and elated following Manchester City’s Premier League triumph took to the turf in their large numbers to celebrate the win.

In a video available at the end of this post, they could be seen in large numbers beating the barricade to break into the pitch to celebrate the club’s 2022/23 Premier League triumph.

Manchester City emerged Premier League champions after Arsenal suffered a shock defeat to Nottingham Forest at City Ground.

Taiwo Awoniyi’s first-half goal made the difference and separated the two sides with Arsenal surrendering the Premier League title to City while Nottingham Forest steered themselves to safety from relegation.

Despite being confirmed Premier League champions after Arsenal’s defeat to Nottingham Forest, Manchester City still maintain their winning ways against Chelsea today.

Pep Guardiola gave several young players a chance to prove themselves with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, Rodri, Jack Grealish, and other top players starting from bench.

The Premier League champions still eke out a win against Chelsea with Julian Alvarez scoring the winning goal early in the first half.

Manchester City have now won the Premier League three consecutive seasons and will become the first team to win it four times consecutively should they win it next season.

They have won the English topflight trophy nine times in the club’s and have dominated the league in the last 11 years, winning it six times
