Borussia Dortmund have close in on winning their first Bundesliga title after 11 years with a big win over Augsburg, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was a dragging first half between both sides but Borussia Dortmund were the better side as the match kicked off.
After Bayern Munich slumped to a shock home defeat against RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund needed a win against Augsburg to overtake the Bavarians on the Bundesliga top with just a match to wrap up the season.
Augsburg fought hard to stop the rampaging visitors and also came across chances to take the lead in the game.
Dortmund were still pressurizing for a goal also but could not break the goal deadlock despite pulling an overwhelming display.

It was a title-chasing goal for the away side as they overtake Bayern Munich on the top after the goal.
Augsburg fought harder to find an equaliser but Borussia Dortmund held off the challenge while pushing to double and secure the lead.
With 6 minutes of regulation time left, Sebastian Haller scored again to double the lead.
It was gameover for Augsburg as the visitors took a 2-0 lead with few minutes left to play.
In the 93rd minute, Brandt hit a stoppage-time goal to deal a final blow to Augsburg.
The match ended with Borussia Dortmund winning 3-0 after the final whistle to overtake Bayern Munich at the Bundesliga top.
With a just match left to the end of the season, Dortmund needs a win against Mainz on final matchday to beat Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga title for the first time since 2012.
