Lionel Messi has put out a statement on why he had to travel to Saudi Arabia without permission from the club.

“I thought we were going to have a day off after the game as always. I had this trip organized and I couldn’t cancel it. I had already canceled it before…”.
“I apologize to my teammates and I’m waiting for what the club wants to do with me”.
Lionel Messi is expected not to train or play with his teammate for sometime during his suspension.
He is also looking to make a move elsewhere when his contact come to an end this season.
