Messi was linked to a move to David Beckham’s Inter Miami in the MLS.

Recently, he has been linked to a Barcelona return with the Catalans confirming the have contacted Lionel Messi to have him back at Camp Nou.

Also, Fabrizio Romano confirms, Saudi Arabian club and Al-Nassr rival, Al-Hilal, have officially submitted a world-record and lucrative €400m to sign Lionel Messi.

Messi was previously linked to Al-Hilal – a move that would have seen him reunite with his old-time rival Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League.

However, his father and agent, Jorge Messi debunked the rumors linking his son to PSG exit, brandishing them as all lies.

According to Messi’s representatives, all news linking Lionel Messi to PSG exit are “fake news.”

Issuing a statement to the French press through Le Parisien, Lionel Messi’s representatives said;

“It is shocking to see news saying PSG want to reduce Leo’s salary, or are not ready to extend his contract.

“These are little games, we are not interested in playing. All these are fake news and they are not good for Leo and his relationship with PSG.

“But it is spreading fast because that is what people want to hear

“It is clear Leo is still negotiating with PSG and the club wants to retain him just as Christophe Galtier said.

‘Therefore, it strange seeing all these fake news fly around. What would they gain by spreading fake news and lying?”

Messi joined PSG from Barcelona in 2021 and has made 67 appearances for the club, scoring 29 goals.
