Jurgen Klopp CONFIRMS Liverpool Transfer Plan!
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed the club’s transfer plan to bolster the Reds’ midfield at the end of the summer, MySportDab reports.
Liverpool needs to bolster their squad for next season after a dismal 2022/23 Premier League campaign so far.
Liverpool are drifting off the top-four race with few games remaining to the end of the season.
The club have been knocked out of the Champions League and may not return next season.
They have been struggling in the Premier League with some pundits blaming the club’s aging midfield for their woes.
They will need more reinforcement to stay aloof in the Premier League title race next season.
There have been rumours the club have been eyeing a top transfer target and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham to infuse more energy to the squad next season.
However, we reported earlier the club have pulled out of the Jude Bellingham race and did not want to expend a lot in signing one player since they need more reinforcements almost in every part of the Liverpool team.
Now, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Liverpool’s transfer plan to bolster the Reds’ midfield.
A quote by Jurgen Klopp on Liverpool midfield plan relayed by BeanymanSports reads;
“There may be 12 midfielders we are interested in on the market. So that is good.
“We will sign some, I hope,” Jurgen Klopp adds.
Liverpool are currently 8th on the Premier League table with 44 points after recording 12 wins, 8 draws, and 9 losses after 29 games.
